MARK BASTIN, DIRECTOR, MARK BASTIN ASSOCIATES
Mark has worked in property marketing for the past 30 years, starting his career in group marketing in the late 1980s with Bellway PLC. Following a three year stint client-side Mark became a founder partner in property marketing agency BDW, a role he held for six years before founding his own agency, Msquared, in 2000.
In 2006 Mark sold his business to Adventis, a marketing agency part owned by Savills, where he held the post as Managing Director until 2012. Since then Mark has worked as a partner in two other agencies – BE Creative and PJP Marketing – before striking out as an independent consultant in 2017. Mark now works for a variety of clients and specialises in marketing for the UK retirement property sector.
ANN FINAN, FORMER HEAD OF DIGITAL AND DISPLAY, MAILMETROMEDIA
Ann has been a well-known figure within the Property industry for over 10 years now. She has run the market leading Property sections for The Evening Standard, Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday and also successfully launched, what has become a hugely successful Property section in the Metro newspaper. Ann was one of the key organisers of the well-regarded Evening Standard Property awards and has also extended her influence and knowledge into both the Travel and Entertainment markets. More recently, Ann was Head of Digital and Display and lead the strategy for growing direct digital and display revenues at MailMetroMedia.
LISA WESTERMAN, DIRECTOR, LISA WESTERMAN CONSULTANCY (LWC)
Lisa has worked in property sales and marketing for the last 25-years, starting her career at Barratt Homes before moving to Great Places Housing Group where she established and led the affordable homes and private sales division for 20-years.
Lisa has now moved into Consultancy and for the last 4-years has run her own sales and marketing consultancy and property sales business. Lisa continues to be an ambassador for shared ownership, providing a range of professional consultancy and property sales services to the housing industry, supporting Housing Associations, Local Authorities and Developers to shape and deliver their housing programmes.
CLAIRE NEL, STRATEGIC PERFORMANCE DIRECTOR, SPACE AND TIME
Claire Nel is a Strategic Performance Director at Space & Time. She is an enthusiastic and highly motivated media professional with over 23 years of dedicated client servicing experience under her belt, across a wide range of sectors including property, insurance, and ecommerce.
As Client Partner Lead, she prides herself on the relationships she builds with her clients. She oversees her clients’ agency team ensuring her accounts get the absolute best quality of work across all specialisms within the business.
Her focus at Space & Time has been to drive growth for her clients with data driven strategies with the aim for strategic and commercial alignment to enhance every stage of the clients’ customer experience.

STEPHEN HARKER, MANAGING PARTNER AND HEAD OF PROPERTY DEPARTMENT, DAWSON CORNWELL
Stephen qualified as a solicitor in 1987. He had worked mostly in the field of property, before joining Dawson Cornwell in 1993. He became a partner in 1995 and is now Managing Partner of the firm. Dawson Cornwell is one of the UK’s leading specialist family law firms and is accredited by the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme. Based in London, the firm acts for clients across the UK and internationally, who are embarking on divorce, separation, or dissolution of a civil partnership. The firm advises on all areas of family and children’s law, including the creation of alternative family structures. It also has a specialist children’s department, with specific expertise in all aspects of international children’s law. The firm is consistently recommended by Chambers and the Legal 500, the two main legal directories.
Unlike other niche family law practices, Dawson Cornwell also advises on buying and selling properties and on wills and planning family finances. Stephen is the head of the firm’s Property Department and advises on commercial and residential work of all kinds, with a particular interest in property development. TONY HARKER, DIRECTOR AND INDEPENDENT HOUSING CONSULTANT
Tony is a Sales and Marketing professional with over 15 years property experience. He worked for Barratt Homes before moving into the affordable homes market working for regional and national Housing Associations. He was a Sales and Marketing Director forover 5 years running the sales and marketing function including market analysis and research, quality management, aftercare and customer service and leasehold services. He has also been responsible for commercial sales and lettings and PRS.
He is very well known and highly respected in the affordable homes industry for hisforward-thinking customer focused solutions. He now has his own consultancy business and is a Director at Censeo Financial, mortgage brokers specialising inaffordable home ownership.
MARCUS WILSHIRE, DIRECTOR, THE COLLABORATIVE CITY
Marcus Wilshere is an architect specialising in creating liveable neighbourhoods. He has been at the forefront of changing the way we plan and build towns and cities. As a leading figure in the UK’s urban design movement, his approach requires thinking beyond the individual building to consider how the whole place works.
His work with local communities has resulted in places that work for the people that live there, making them popular, safe and well cared for.
EMMA MADDICK, PROPERTY MARKETING CONSULTANT, EMC360
Emma is a chartered marketer with over 20 years’ marketing experience. Emma began her career in property marketing with Notting Hill Housing in 2005, where she set up its marketing team and launched its first private sales programme. Since then, she has worked as Marketing Director for L&Q, Marketing Consultant for Folio and Head of Marketing for Way of Life. Emma runs her own marketing consultancy business EMC360 and is currently working for a portfolio of clients including Red Loft.
EMC360 works with housing associations, developers and build-to-rent companies to produce and deliver their marketing strategies.
