DECADE OF FIRST TIME BUYER READERS’ AWARDS NOW OPEN FOR 2019

The First Time Buyers Readers’ Awards 2019 are now open for nominations. The team behind the 10th annual awards and hosted by TV celebrity and Escape to The Country presenter Nicki Chapman, are welcoming entries from the best in the business. Celebrating a decade of honouring companies who dedicate themselves to helping the First Time Buyer market, this year is expected to attract a record number of entries.

This year the prestigious industry awards have added two brand new categories to their line up; Best Off-plan Development and Best Supplier to the First Time Buyer Market. To accommodate a growing audience, the venue will also change and this year will be held at The London Marriott Hotel in Grosvenor Square.

There are 18 categories in this year’s awards. These include; Best FTB Media Coverage; Private Developer of the Year; Affordable Housing Provider of the Year; Best Small Development; Best Large Development; Best FTB Family Home; Best First Time Buyer Apartment; Best Urban Regeneration Project; Best Innovative Redevelopment of an Existing Property; Best Architectural Design; Best Law Firm for Conveyancing; Most Innovative Marketing Campaign; Best Show Home; Best New Development in the South; and Best New Development in the North and the Judges’ Special Award for Outstanding Contribution to the FTB Market, alongside the two new categories listed above.

Lynda Clark, CEO of First Time Buyer Group, says: “A decade of the First Time Buyer Readers’ Awards is a great achievement and there is certainly a lot to be celebrated. Much has changed in 10 years of homebuying but what remains is that First Time Buyers are clearly still a top priority on the housing agenda and this is unlikely to change. That is why we must recognise those who go above and beyond to help, support and guide less experienced buyers through the process of buying their first home.

“We are really looking forward to our 10th annual awards ceremony which we expect to be our biggest and best event yet. Our 2019 First Time Buyer Readers’ Awards will honour the very best in the industry and celebrate those who go the extra mile to help others into homeownership.”

Whilst the judges are involved with the shortlisting of these awards, it is ultimately the readers who decide on the winners. Launched in First Time Buyer Magazine, the shortlisted companies will feature in the April/May edition of the title and voting will take place online at www.ftbawards.com

The winners will be announced at an awards lunch at The London Marriott Hotel in Grosvenor Square Friday 26th April 2018. Each entry costs £350+VAT and the deadline for entries will be Thursday 10th January 2019 at 5pm. An early bird discount will apply to entries received before Monday 17th December at 5pm whereby a discounted entry of £295 +VAT will be valid.
