CHRIS JONES, MANAGING PARTNER, SPACE & TIME

Chris has nearly 10 years’ marketing experience working with the UK’s top property developers and estate agents, starting at Space & Time Media in the middle of the 2008 recession. He later joined Adgenda Media International in early 2012.

He spent three years working with UK and overseas developers before returning and becoming a partner in Space & Time Media, where he currently works with clients and ambitious marketers to shape and future-proof their marketing strategy.

MARK BASTIN, DIRECTOR, MARK BASTIN ASSOCIATES

Mark has worked in property marketing for the past 30 years, starting his career in group marketing in the late 1980s with Bellway PLC. Following a three year stint client-side Mark became a founder partner in property marketing agency BDW, a role he held for six years before founding his own agency, Msquared, in 2000.

In 2006 Mark sold his business to Adventis, a marketing agency part owned by Savills, where he held the post as Managing Director until 2012. Since then Mark has worked as a partner in two other agencies – BE Creative and PJP Marketing – before striking out as an independent consultant in 2017. Mark now works for a variety of clients and specialises in marketing for the UK retirement property sector.

LISA WESTERMAN, DIRECTOR, LWC CONSULTANCY & PROPERTY SALES

Lisa has worked in property sales and marketing for the last 25-years.

Lisa is Director of LWC and for the last sevenyears has run her own sales and marketing consultancy and property sales business. Lisa continues to be an ambassador for shared ownership, providing a range of professional consultancy and property sales services to the housing industry, supporting Housing Associations, Local Authorities and Developers to shape and deliver their housing programmes.

TONY HARKER, DIRECTOR AND INDEPENDENT HOUSING CONSULTANT

Tony is a Sales and Marketing professional with over 15 years property experience. He worked for Barratt Homes before moving into the affordable homes market working for regional and national Housing Associations. He was a Sales and Marketing Director for over 5 years running the sales and marketing function including market analysis and research, quality management, aftercare and customer service and leasehold services. He has also been responsible for commercial sales and lettings and PRS.

He is very well known and highly respected in the affordable homes industry for his forward-thinking customer focused solutions. He now has his own consultancy business and is a Director at Censeo Financial, mortgage brokers specialising in affordable home ownership.

EMMA MADDICK, PROPERTY MARKETING CONSULTANT, EMC360

Emma is a Chartered Marketer with over 20 years of experience delivering impactful marketing strategies across the residential property sector. She began her career in property marketing in 2005 with Notting Hill Housing, where she led the marketing team and played a pivotal role in launching and delivering their private sales and Shared Ownership programmes.

Today, Emma runs EMC360, a specialist marketing consultancy providing strategic and hands-on support to Housing Associations, developers, and Build-to-Rent operators. 

Her consultancy expertise is complemented by a proven track record in fractional leadership roles, including Marketing Director at L&Q, Marketing Consultant for Folio London, and Head of Marketing for Way of Life. Whether engaged on an interim or project basis, Emma brings fresh insight, agility, and a deep understanding of the housing market to help clients achieve their marketing goals.

ADAM CRAWFORD, CO-HEAD OF HOME OWNERSHIP, PENNINGTONS MANCHES COOPER

Adam is a 20 years plus qualified conveyancer and has spent the majority of this time specialising in new build property and social housing. He is currently co-Head of Home Ownership at Penningtons Manches Cooper and acts for a number of housing associations, local authorities and developers in setting up new developments for sale together with a range of other conveyancing instructions including regeneration, buy backs, void disposals, right to buy etc. Adam often produces briefing notes and training to the industry on legal changes/updates and relevant topics.

BERNIE CONROY, DIRECTOR OF BERNIE CONROY CONSULTING LIMITED

Bernie has nearly 35 years of leadership in the housing sector.  A chartered marketer, she established in partnership the first intermediate market one-stop shops which set the template for the Help to Buy HomeBuy agency network that was rolled out nationally. She was also pivotal in the set up and management of the national Post Sales Help to Buy Agency with English Partnerships and then Homes England. 

Alongside a wealth of experience as a previous Managing Director of a GI5 housing association Bernie was also chair of the NHF Shared Ownership Advisory Panel and London home ownership group. Passionate about providing good quality new and resale homes, innovating, sector collaboration and delivering excellent customer service. She has actively participated in government review panels to improve the affordable housing offer for providers and customers to deliver improved access to more affordable good quality homes.

Since 2017, she has been providing consultancy support to housing associations and local authorities, to deliver a variety of strategic and operational sales and marketing services for the first time and later living buyer markets.

JEREMY MARCUS | SALES & MARKETING DIRECTOR - CONSULTANCY

With nearly three decades of leadership in Sales & Marketing, Jeremy has navigated the landscape of PLC house builders including Higgins Homes and Barratt London. His expertise spans across diverse projects, from small residential schemes to larger mixed-use developments, selling both within domestic and international markets. His experience extends to complex regeneration projects and he is a Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Marketing.  

Transitioning into consultancy, Jeremy now lends his wealth of knowledge to various ventures. He plays a pivotal role in providing strategic guidance and support on property matters to a prominent national charity, while also collaborating with other house builders and property developers. Through bespoke consultancy services, Jeremy delivers invaluable insights and support in the Sales & Marketing domain within the real estate sector.
